By keeping our overheads and costs low, we are able to pass on those savings to our customers. We, therefore, only accept payments via bank transfer or credit card payments provided buyers agree to cover all additional charges associated with the credit card payment.
By bidding on any items we have listed on eBay, you are offering to purchase the item(s) described at the listed price. Elk Performance Ltd will then determine whether, or not, to fulfill the order. Prices for eBay sales will be higher than buying directly from us as this reflects the added costs of selling through eBay.
Elk Performance Ltd reserve the right to accept, refuse, or limit your order request for any reason, including, but not limited to, product availability and changes / errors in the prices and item descriptions disclosed in the course of communications.
All items will be sent fully insured, and only by postage / courier delivery which can be tracked. Please advise us of your UK delivery address as deliveries to Northern Ireland, Scottish Highland and Offshore Isles addresses will incur a surcharge. International postage and packing will be charged at cost.
Any items which are returned to us after failed collection / delivery attempts will only be re-sent on payment of the appropriate delivery fee. Any refunds issued in these circumstances will be solely at our discretion and with all the costs associated with the delivery and return deducted.
All UK and EU customers have a statutory right to cancel your order within 7 days of receipt of any items purchased. You will have a further 7 days to ensure that the item reaches us. Any claims falling outside of these prescribed limits will not qualify for any refund.
This 7 day “cooling-off” period does not, however, apply to any Special Order or bespoke parts, Special Tools, Volvo fuel-related components, or any Volvo electrical / electronic items which have been removed from their original packaging and physically connected up to a vehicle or any other equipment for diagnostic or testing purposes – this is in line with the policies of the manufacturer.
Orders placed for stock parts that have been correctly supplied and which are subsequently not required can be returned to us unused within the stipulated time-frame, by the claims process outlined below, subject to a restocking fee of 20%.
In order for any item to be eligible for a returns claim, it must be unused and in the same saleable condition that it was received. It must also be returned with the original packaging. Prior to returning the item, please contact us by email (email@example.com) to obtain a Return Material Authorisation (RMA) and returns instructions.
Buyers will be responsible for all return postage costs and we strongly recommend that you use a means of postage which can be tracked. Please ensure that all items being returned are suitably packaged and insured to their full value against loss or damage. If any returned items are received damaged, devalued in any way, or have missing components, we reserve the to issue a partial refund or decline, in total, any claim for a refund. In these circumstances, we will not be liable for postage costs to return any items to the customer.

Following receipt of all returned items we will notify you, by way of email that we have received them. All returned items will be inspected by a representative of the manufacturer, after which we will notify you of the outcome of your claim. All approved claims will be processed, and a refund issued within 14 days of receipt of the items.
Faulty Items – if any item is faulty at the time of delivery, we will undertake to either refund or replace the item(s) at no cost to you. We will, however, require payment for any parts sent out prior to the receipt of the returned faulty item by us. Please notify us of any faulty items within 7 days of receiving them.
All Manufacturer Genuine parts are supplied with a one year warranty against failure attributable to faulty materials or workmanship during manufacture. Any parts alleged to have suffered such failure must be returned by the same RMA claims procedure outlined above. We will require payment for any warranty replacement parts sent out prior to the receipt of the returned faulty item by us. All warranty claims will be submitted to and considered by the relevant Manufacturer warranty departments, and their decision on whether a claim is successful, or declined, is final.
